Hi Angus. There are no bots that will ban you.
There is a chat filter that will mute you after several warnings within a short period of time. This is to protect users from offensive language and spam.
If you are referring to the bug that occurred today, this was due to a hosting issue where all players IP's were being detected as the same, which caused a number of issues like player's being detected as the wrong account. This has since been fixed :)
