Name: Sapphira
IGN: SSapphira
Age: 23 (24 next month as of writing this)
Strengths: Uh- having ample of time with nothing to do. As someone who is multiply disabled and practically bed bound, unless I'm off at a doctor's appointment I can genuinely hop on at almost any time (provided I haven't taken my sleep meds) and tend to show around 6AM-11PM EST/EDT and can randomly pop up between midnight-6AM provided I've woken up after my meds or just can't sleep.
Weaknesses: Probably my emotional state? I have BPD. This means my brain naturally lacks emotional regulation from trauma in my past. In layman's terms, any emotional turmoil I may find myself in ends up feeling a lot worse to me than they may be. One of my main issues with me and my BPD is sometimes I get swallowed up in the ability to be a staff, treating it almost like a real job, rather than just something voluntary. Oh and I swear like a sailor IRL so I tend to mute or stay away from speaking in voice calls incase I get a bit PG16+ with my swearing.
Experience moderating: When it comes to moderating a Minecraft server I've had the lovely chance of being a Owner, a Co Owner, a Head Admin, a Head Mod, a Mod and a Helper on smaller servers. Ranging from Towny to Farming to some very very small PVP servers. Course these were way back when and unfortunately non of the Minecraft servers I used to be staff on are still standing.
When it comes to moderating period I tend to have a lot of experience as well in Twitch & Discord moderating. I used to moderate Twitch streamers: LolNasteey & Keats but currently I moderate some friends. Particularly my gf, and a friend of mine on Twitch known as MavisDeLuna.
Worst Punishment on a Minecraft Server: Does the 12 hour mute for typing too fast consecutively count cause I have that on this server. I've never been punished for something on a server. No hacking, cheating or anything. But the auto mod gets me regularly because I type too fast for my own good consecutively. Besides that, maybe having 1 slip up for almost swearing or replacing a swear when utterly frustrated with automod, though I've learned to keep it to myself.
Why do you want to be a helper: Honestly I believe being staff is more than just a shiny badge. Having the time and the energy to help out, I'd like to be able to enforce the good behavior I naturally see every day. Plus I like being a hand to help out and a person to trust when something goes wrong or when someone would like some help or has questions and I do that regardless of if this application gets accepted or not.
