So I am a new player not to Minecraft though and I'm not sure how to join the server if anyone can help me that would be great!

Hi Anobody you can join by pressing add server under the multiplayer section of the minecraft menu, then head down to server ip and type:

play.DeadMC.com

and press join and your all good to go :)
